Those were decompiled into source code. A team would need to decompile GTA 4 in order to port it to Switch. Not just that. The GTA trilogy were all based on existing mobile ports. And it still took a ton of time to port to Switch. GTA IV hasn't been released for mobile. Well switch could run the Witcher 3.
GTA Definitive Edition, is actually missing features, and it doesn't even remotely resemble the old PS2/OG Xbox games in visuals. Rockstar/Take Two needed to give Grove Street Games, and the games itself more time in the oven. With how Ark came out, they shown that they can handle ports with sufficient time. Reply.
